h1. Architecture overview
The system consists of a web application, a public API, background workers and a PostgreSQL database.
h2. Components
* *Web application* - server-rendered pages with progressive enhancement.
* *API* - versioned JSON API with token authentication.
* *Workers* - background jobs for imports, exports and notifications.
* *Storage* - object storage for attachments, database backups every night.
h2. Environments
Development, staging (anonymized production data) and production. Infrastructure is described with Terraform.
* Update 2026-06-04: Reproduced the problem; the cause is in the data migration.
* Update 2026-06-12: Started working on it, will post an update after the first run.
* Update 2026-08-14: Merged to main, will be included in the next release.
